Recommended Water Meter Connector Cables - Home Use

Below are the recommended pulse metering connectors for the two main types of meters used in Australia.

Option 1 - Honeywell/Elster V100 Water Meter

For this meter we recommend the following cable : Elster V100 T110 Reed Switch

Note : Due to the simple reed switch nature of this probe, we highly recommend the DevelopmentWise Smart Water Meter interface, as this handles the fluttering of the reed switch which can occur due to the slow movement of this meter (5 L/ minute)

Option 2 - iTron/Aquadis TD8

For this meter we recommend the following cable : Itron Wired Cyble Sensor 2w

This is a highly accurate sensor, and has an internal battery (~12 years) and smart circuitry to handle any fluctuations in the metering activity. Please Note : Be sure to order the 2W or 2 wire version.
